For us sustainability is a design condition, not a report chapter: there are four things we measure over the life of every plant, port and line.
Our targets
By 2030 we aim to halve our scope 1 and 2 emissions against 2020, and to reach net zero in 2040.
- Climate: all group electricity from our own renewable plants from 2028.
- Water: reuse half of the water we treat in farming and industry by 2030.
- People: bring lost-time injury frequency below 1 per million hours.
- Neighbours: an open meeting and a grievance line before construction at every new site.
